Last weekend we went to the nearby Nature Center for a walk along the trails, where I pretended to be a National Geographic photographer. There were a million dragonflies by the pond, and we saw a family of what we believe were Canadian geese, as well as pretty flowers and turtles. I'm still amazed that I was able to capture the dragonfly in the last picture, because they were flitting about so quickly.
Thanks for taking us along with you into the great outdoors, Hazel--sensational photos! That lily just sings in its happy color... :o) Have a great weekend ahead ((HUGS))
Funny enough, I was nervous that a serial killer would come bursting out of the woods. And I wanted to bring my cell phone and GPS in case we got lost.
All pretty, but the dragonfly one is the best!

ReplyDeleteI am very impressed with the photographs, but also that you went on a walk that didn't involve a city but nature. Was this Mr. Hazel's idea?
ReplyDeleteYOU went to a NATURE CENTER for a WALK? Was there a man behind you with a bazooka trained to your back?
ReplyDeleteHMM, I'm glad you like the dragonfly!
ReplyDeleteTracy, I love the color of that lily too :)

ReplyDeleteOh, and Mr Hazel almost left me behind because I could barely make it up the hill.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! You are truly talented.;))
