I managed to get this photo loaded so you can get a quick preview of this necklace in spite of our internet problems.
This one is "Kate," and she's made up of a white bone butterfly pendant measuring around 1.5" x 2", and blue howlite beads on sterling silver wire. This was the first time I've worked with howlite and I love the way it turned out.
I also really love the sharp color contrast between the beads and the pendant.
As usual, the sun hid behind a cloud and stayed there for the rest of the day when I took this picture so it's not as bright as I would like. I may have to re-take some shots tomorrow.
In the meantime, I'll try working on posting the rest of the pictures.

there is something about this that reminds me of santorini. Probably the colors but that is immediately what I thought of. Very pretty.
Another marketing tip from your marketing guru: Start naming your pieces after your friends. The "Mariel" and "Meridith" and "Marnie" and "Ahila." They won't be able to resist buying!
Oh, and don't forget "The Brent."
Mer, did you mean the one in Greece? I thought at first you were talking about an artist I haven't heard of :)
Way ahead of you there. This was actually my original plan but I changed my mind because I was having a hard time matching the personalities of my friends to the actual necklace. Might still do this in the future, but for now I'm sticking to other names.
yup - I mean the one in Greece.
I like the idea of naming your pieces after me! I mean everyone you know! I would definitely buy the "Brent"!! If you make the "Pete" all you need to is a huge pendant of the Steelers logo!
HMM, HAHAHAHAHAHA! It's a deal!
