My friend Camille posted a couple of pictures on Hazel Designs' Facebook page from her wedding that showcase the jewelry she commissioned from me. Here is one of her wearing the Anne bracelet that was her "something blue" during the dancing of the horah (the other arm is her hubby Jeremy). Isn't it pretty?

And here is one of her bridesmaids wearing the smoky quartz bracelet and earrings!

MyCraft

Mr Hazel discovered a social networking site for crafters, called MyCraft. I joined it, and have friends! Come visit me there.

Also, many, many thanks to those of you who have become fans of Hazel Designs on Facebook. I'm really tickled pink! However, it appears that I can't fan or friend people back, because I'm officially categorized as a "store." That makes me sad.

But know that I am a fan of all of you.

Late to the party

But I finally got there!

Recently I was perusing the Etsy forums - particularly the thread on how to promote your business - and the general consensus seems to be that sellers should increase both their work's and their store's presence online as much as possible.

To that end, a lot of sellers on Etsy have Flickr accounts as well as accounts on one of the social networking sites.

So, now you can also find Hazel Designs both on Flickr and Facebook! I also added in a nifty Flickr badge on the left-hand sidebar of my blog, featuring photos of my jewelry.
