Over the weekend we were at another birthday party for an equally special person, and on the way home, we saw this deer. It ran from the road to the lawn of that house, and, being a city kid, I of course had to take a picture as proof of its existence. But it was too fast for me so all I could get was this tiny rendition of it running away.
Also, being a city kid, I freaked out. Whoa...deer!

About six months ago, I almost hit a deer on my way to work! Seriously, I was thisclose to having a new hood ornament. They are BIG animals, but apparently pretty stupid, too, since it just ran right into the road.
Oh, how lovely...Been years since I had the joy of seeing deer close up like that! I'm a nature girl ;o) Oh, LOVE your circle earring--super job! Happy Days ((HUGS))
Speaking of being city girls, do you remember when we were in the Poconos and we returned to the cabin and there deer everywhere and we were afraid to get out of the car?
I probably see at least 3-4 deer a week!
Marn, hitting a deer is scary - I hear it does more damage to the car than to the animal. Glad you were ok!
Tracy, hopefully you'll see some deer on your upcoming US trip! Thanks for the kind words :)
Meri - HA HA HA HA. I had forgotten about those scary deer in the Poconos. We were so scared they would attack us! And listening to Carlos Santana in the woods. Talk about city girls.
HMM, do they come up to your house? That would freak me out!
